The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Housing Authority is currently seeking one highly motivated individual with experience working with homeless persons with opiate use disorder. This position is a regular full-time position.

 

Opioid Response Case Manager

 

Description: Responsible for intake and case management for homeless people who have opiate substance use disorder. Planning and coordination of supportive services and follow-up with referrals in accordance with LLHA Homeless Resources Program and grant reporting requirements. Online HMIS client data entry and reporting. This is a full-time position.

 

Qualifications: AA Degree in Human Services preferred. Two years’ experience working with homeless persons. Two years’ experience working with people with opiate use disorder. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must have experience in Microsoft Office computer software. Must be dependable and reliable. Knowledge of the LLHA and LLBO programs, resources and services. HMIS system knowledge a plus. Crisis Management experience is a plus. Must have empathy and patience.

 

A valid, Minnesota Driver’s License and be insurable per the LLBO Fleet Management criteria. Must submit to random drug/alcohol testing

 

Wage: DOQ (wage determination based on education and experience)

The Leech Lake Housing Authority is currently seeking individuals with Carpentry experience. This is a full time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. These positions require reliable, punctual individuals that are willing and able to be at work every day. Must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites throughout the reservation.

 

CARPENTER

 

Description: Performs all aspects of construction, to include new construction, renovation and repairing of existing housing for eligible tenants on the Leech Lake Reservation. A valid MN Driver’s License is required or must be able to obtain within 90 days and be insurable per the LLBO Fleet Management Driver/Motor Vehicle Record Criteria.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma preferred or equivalent. Carpentry Certificate preferred or minimum three years construction experience. Must have ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. unassisted.

 

Wage: $14.00/hour w/Valid Driver’s License and Insurable per the LLBO Fleet Management Criteria

             $12.00/hour - Upon successful completion of 90 day probationary period and meeting the Driver’s License requirement including insurability, the rate of pay will increase to $14.00/hour with retro pay back to date of obtaining Driver’s License and being insurable per the LLBO Fleet Management Criteria

           $12.00/hour w/no valid Driver’s License and/or unaccepted insurability

The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Housing Authority (LLHA) is seeking a highly motivated, independent, reliable, punctual, attention to detail individual for the following position in our Maintenance Department.

 

CLEANER

 

Description: Responsible for cleaning vacant units following move-out or renovation/rehab. This department is responsible for cleaning, light maintenance and upkeep of all LLHA owned buildings, including the Administrative offices.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous Cleaning experience preferred.  Good communication skills.  Knowledge of the safe handling and use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Must be dependable and reliable and must adhere to all confidentiality policies of the LLHA.

 

Wage: $10.25/Hour     Full Time
